This event will happen at South Park Middle School from 4-5:30 at 1551 Delaware St, Oshkosh, WI 54902. Enter Door #1 which is the main door.

There are many reasons to get involved in Computer Science at an early age.

Sign Up at to get registered by March 12.

Talent Show

We are excited to showcase South Park student talent in this year's Talent Show! Students will have the opportunity to audition on Feb 4 and 5th. They will then have the chance to work one on one with staff to hone their skills and talents before the big show on April 30 @ 6:00 p.m. We hope to see you there to cheer on the amazing kids here at South Park.

Homework Requests When Absent

Students should email their teachers as a group to request their homework when absent.  If teachers want to get the students handouts, a book, etc., they can let you know via email to pick this up in the office. We are requesting that parents send in a note or call the office to notify us of the absence.

Cold Weather Closings/Concerns

When the weather conditions are of concern, it is recommended that parents keep informed by listening to the radio stations and checking our local TV stations.

Please make sure that when your children are leaving home in the morning that they are dressed appropriately (coat, hat, gloves) for the weather. Students go outside at lunch sometimes, so they need to be dressed for the weather.

South Park’s first bell rings at 8:13 am and the second bell rings at 8:19 am. If students are not in Morning Meeting when the second bell rings, they are considered tardy. If they are more than 10 minutes late, they are considered unexcused absent.

SAIL, which stands for “Students Achieving in Learning” is offered from 7:30 – 8:15 a.m. in room A333 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  This is a place students can drop in to complete school work and get additional help.  Please contact Ms. Joiner at 424-1228 ext. 2743 or for more information.

Lost and Found

Just a reminder to parents that there are large lost and found bins located in the gym foyer with student items in it. Next time you are at the school, please check for any of your child's missing items in the boxes (lunch bags, clothing, etc.)

Does Your Child Need One-on-One Help?

If the answer to this question is “yes”, then there are many opportunities available at South Park. It is always best if the child sees their teachers first for help (before school, at lunch, or after school). We also have a resource room which is a small group setting where students can go for extra help during the lunch hour. Resource rooms are open at the following times/places below:

6th Grade Lunch
A332 (Mrs. Kohfeldt)
7th Grade Lunch:                                                                                                                                                                   E201/C211 (Mr. M. Meyer/Mrs. N. Larsen)
8th Grade Lunch:
 E303 (Mrs. Dobke)
