STUDENT ATTENDANCE AND ABSENCES

The district's policy only allows a student in grades K-12 to miss part of all of 10 school days for any reason for the entire school year. Students will not have extra days to miss school for general illness, appointments and tardiness. Ten days adds up quickly especially if a child is tardy. There is a new attendance policy in place and that is if your student misses 10 consecutive days you will need to sign one of Pre-planned Absence Forms that you can get from the Main Office. One way to stay on top of your child’s attendance is to monitor it on Infinite Campus.

We’re excited to share that our school is part of the Coca-Cola Give program. This opens up South Park Middle School to new funding opportunities to help improve learning environments for students. The best part is donations don’t come out of your own pocket. When you make Coca-Cola purchases, you simply enter the product codes here: https://us.coca-cola.com/give/schools/ and our school receives a donation. South Park Middle School makes the most of this program and you can learn more at Coke.com/give.  Feel free to send the codes to school and we can enter them here as well.  Thank you for your support.
The steps to donate are easy:
Collect My Coke Rewards codes on bottle caps, 12 packs, and 24 packs of Coca-Cola products.
Go to www.mycokerewards.com (register if you aren’t a member yet)
Enter codes to collect points – choose “Donate to Your School” from the six ways to spend points and look for South Park Middle School.
Find our school by Zip Code. When our school’s page comes up, click and enter the amount of points you’d like to give, and then click “Donate.”
